According to AllHipHop.com, Atlanta rapper Killer Mike has changed his name to Mike Bigga because he felt like his former rap epithet was holding him back.
"I’m going with the name Mike Bigga because I really feel like I’m bigger than what I have been in the past and I’ve managed to get legendary status from being a raw rap guy in terms of being able to come out of the shadows of the hardships I’ve had,” Mike told the reporters at AllHipHop.
Killer Mike was one Atlanta's finest and brightest rappers, and I hope he continues to put out quality material under his new moniker and new recording home at the house that Tip built: Grand Hustle.
I suspect he changed his name cause it rhymes better with the N-bomb. That's just me though.
